Hair Restoration Injections

Hair Restoration Injections are well-known for their clotting abilities, but they also contain growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration or healing in the treated area. To create platelet-rich plasma our clinicians take a blood sample and place it into a device called a centrifuge that rapidly spins the sample, separating out the other components of the blood from the platelets and concentrating them within the plasma. We use a unique double spin method to highly condense the platelets. The highly condensed solution is injected into the target areas of deterioration encouraging hair growth.

Follicular Unit Extraction

FUE is a process where individual follicles are harvested from the DHT (dihydrotestosterone) resistant area of the scalp and relocated to the areas of deterioration. In many cases, the follicles have not fully deteriorated creating vessel hairs and can be revived into full length, thick terminal hairs. Through medical management or small minimally invasive procedures we are able to regrow the terminal hairs making most FUE transplants less extensive and without unnecessary trauma.

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

Scalp micropigmentation or a hair tattoo is a non-surgical, cosmetic tattoo that provides the appearance of a close cut hairstyle. This process is done on the hairline to create a flawless line up or to add density to a thinning crown.The process can also be used to conceal scars from a previous FUT hair restoration, face lift and even hide the visual impact of burns or scars on the head. This procedure does not involve local anesthesia during the procedure. In contrast to traditional tattoos, this treatment is superficial in that it penetrates the epidermal level of the skin, and ink is deposited in the upper dermal level of the skin in order to avoid macro impressions.The advantages of this procedure is that the hairline or density can be adjusted or touched up with relative ease.

Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)

LLLT is a non-invasive light source treatment that generates a single wavelength of light. It emits no heat, sound, or vibration. It is also called photobiology or biostimulation. LLLT is believed to affect the function of connective tissue cells (fibroblasts), accelerate connective tissue repair and act as an anti-inflammatory agent. LLLT studies show its ability to stimulate anagen re-entry of telogen hair follicles, prolong the duration of anagen phase, and increase the rate of proliferation in active anagen follicles. The modulation of hair cycle reveals an increase of hair density and diameter as well as a decrease of hair shedding, resulting in the clinical improvement of hair loss.
