Why He Started SD Hair MD
Elijah’s path into hair restoration started with his own experience with hair loss. Researching the condition and his treatment options led him deep into the science behind hair restoration, and when it came time to choose a clinic for himself, he found an industry that too often prioritized patient volume over outcomes. He watched friends walk away from other providers with visible scarring, damaged follicles, and patchy results after being sold treatment plans that overpromised.
That experience is what led him to partner with Dr. Alex Roher, owner of SDBotox, San Diego’s top-rated medical spa, to build a different kind of practice. Together they co-founded SD Hair MD around transparency, education, and attentive, personalized care: the standard Elijah wished had existed when he was researching his own treatment.
His Approach to Patient Care
Elijah leads the patient experience at SD Hair MD from start to finish: a detailed pre-treatment consultation to plan the hairline and set realistic expectations, a calm and supported treatment day, a next-day post-op check-in, and ongoing access to the team throughout recovery, including personal reminders to help patients follow their post-op care correctly.
